Before using a VPN check their terms and conditions and see what they log. A good VPN usually has NO logging. This is important because if the police get a warrant for the logs from the VPN provider, then you're in shit (if the VPN has been logging what you've been doing). Heres a site that summarizes VPNs and puts it into a nice chart. Also use SOCKS5 as well when you're carding.
