Employees of the Russian Interpol Bureau and the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia delivered Konstantin Dolgov from Thailand to Russia, who was accused of stealing almost 6 million rubles. It is reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry.

“It was established that the attacker, having access to the bank account of one of the organizations of the city of Omsk, transferred the money available there to affiliate accounts. Subsequently, he cashed in the stolen money and left the territory of Russia, ”the ministry said.

According to this fact, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of the crime provided for by parts 2 and 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. On the basis of the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Omsk region in May 2017, the accused was put on the international wanted list.

“Earlier, in December 2016, a man was detained by law enforcement agencies in Thailand for attempting to blow up an ATM, after which in March 2017 he was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison by the court. At the end of his sentence, he was transferred to the Bangkok City Immigration Prison for deportation to the Russian Federation, ”said Russian Interior Ministry spokesman Irina Volk.
