The relatively mild sentence - six months of community service - is explained by the fact that most of the attacks were carried out by hackers at a time when they had not yet come of age.

The Mako website writes that at the age of 16, the accused opened a website through which they took orders to carry out attacks on websites and servers. Over the past two and a half years, they have carried out about two million cyberattacks and earned about a million shekels.

The court materials say that young people acted according to a well-thought-out plan. They bought two powerful servers, used a cache company located in London, received a security certificate for making payments and accepted payments using Paypal and bitcoins.

Site " Mako"writes that the defendants pleaded guilty under the pre-trial agreement.
The court ordered the defendants to pay a fine of 25,000 shekels, as well as return 600 thousand shekels that were illegally earned.
