In Vinogradovshchina, employees of the Cybercrime Counter-Crime Department in the Transcarpathian Region, together with local law enforcement officers, under the procedural leadership of the Beregovo local prosecutor’s office, exposed a man who illegally obtained access to his clients ’private data. The 39-year-old resident of the village of Oleshnik has developed malicious software to hack accounts of users of social networks. By purchasing a program through a channel created by her husband in a public messenger, and installing on their gadget, clients got the opportunity to hack the network accounts of users of social networks, and the illegal businessman himself received unhindered access to the gadgets of his clients.

One of the victims, suspecting that the purchased Internet product may be a hacker, contacted the police. He told law enforcement officers that after he acquired the application for hacking accounts, he realized that another person had access to his computer.

Law enforcement authorities conducted an audit during which they entered the 39-year-old grapevtsya.

During the employees of the cyber police department in the Transcarpathian region of the authorized searches of the defendant’s place of residence, seized computer equipment used for criminal purposes, mobile phones, bank payment cards and flash information.

Now the issue of handing over to the defendant a message about suspicion of two crimes related to the manufacture and distribution of malicious software and computer interference, that is, under articles 361 and 361-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, is being agreed. A pre-trial investigation is ongoing, the Transcarpathian region Police Communication Department informs.
