On January 26, security systems operator Delta experienced a cyberattack on its IT infrastructure. The company's online services were affected, with customers across the country reporting problems with remote car starters, door opening, and alarm control. Some users were unable to access their vehicles at all.

In an official statement, Delta representatives reported a "large-scale external impact," which forced the company to temporarily restrict access to several online services.

The company emphasized that the security system operates autonomously, and the hardware itself (alarms and devices installed in cars and properties) was not compromised. The incident affected only the online access servers. The company also emphasized that "no signs of a compromise of customers' personal data were detected."

Delta is a federal security company founded in 2011. It specializes in comprehensive protection for vehicles, apartments, homes, and commercial properties. It provides remote security, monitoring, and armed response services.

Delta's technical specialists are working to restore all systems and services to full functionality, and relevant experts have been engaged in this process. Instructions for customers experiencing issues have also been published on the company's Telegram channel

. It's worth noting that yesterday, a major outage also occurred in the Leonardo booking system, Astra check-in system, and Sirena sales system, forcing several Russian airlines (Aeroflot, Pobeda, Nordwind, Yamal, and Izhavia) to restrict passenger check-in and ticket sales. Rostec later announced that functionality had been restored and explained that the outage was due to an internal technical issue on the provider's side, Sirena Travel.
